Babysitter Discovers Clown Doll Hiding In House Is Real

Clowns, you either love them or fear them.

How much truth there is to this I don’t know but the story, all the same, is terrifying, to say the least. A 48-year-old Oregon two-time convicted pedophile is now behind bars after he was caught molesting a six-year-old little girl while she was left at home in the care of a babysitter. According to police transcripts, the babysitter tells a chilling story of how the attacker was discovered:

“The Jones’ had me scheduled to babysit Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening so they could go out of town for their anniversary,” recalls the babysitter Chastity Cromwell in her report to the police. “On Thursday evening when I put the little girl to bed she said she was afraid to be alone. She told me the clown in the chair scared her. I told her to roll over and ignore it and just go to sleep. When I left the room she was screaming for about 30 minutes and when I checked on her she was hiding under the covers. On Friday night, the same thing. She kept complaining about the scary clown in the chair. I told her to be a brave little girl and go to sleep and when I left the room she cried for nearly 45 minutes. On Saturday night the same thing happened again. She kept saying the clown is going to get me. I left her alone and this time she was screaming for an hour. I called her parents to ask her what I should do. When I told them about the scary clown they had no idea what I was talking about. They said they don’t have a clown in the house. So I snapped a photo of the clown in the chair and texted to them. They said they had never seen it before in their lives. I headed back towards the room when I saw a small figure dart down the stairs and out the front door. When I went into the room, the clown was gone. The little girl was crying asking why I did not believe her. She told me the clown did very bad things to her every night that I was there.”

The small man, who was dressed like a creepy clown from a horror movie, had been raping her all three nights. Cromwell immediately called 911 and reported the horrifying incident. Within 40 minutes police arrested 48-year-old Ralph Horns. Police dogs picked up his scent, where they found him hiding in a bush two blocks away. The little girl, whose identity is staying confidential because of her age, was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released. Police on the case say this is the most horrific story of child molestation they have ever seen. Horns is being held with no bail awaiting trial.

What are your thoughts and are you scared of clowns?

Lilith: Seductress, heroine or murderer?

The ancient name “Lilith” derives from a Sumerian word for female demons or wind spirits.

Lilith’s themes are female cosmic energy, freedom, female strength, female pride, trance, protecting mothers, courage, playfulness, passion, pleasure, and sexuality. Her symbol is an apple. Call on her when a woman’s sense of freedom is threatened or misunderstood.

Her dark origins lie in Babylonian demonology, where amulets and incantations were used to counter the sinister powers of this winged spirit who preyed on pregnant women and infants. Lilith next migrated to the world of the ancient Hittites, Egyptians, Israelites, and Greeks. She makes a solitary appearance in the Bible, as a wilderness demon shunned by the prophet Isaiah. In the Middle Ages, she reappears in Jewish sources as the dreadful first wife of Adam.

In the Renaissance, Michelangelo portrayed Lilith as a half-woman, half-serpent, coiled around the Tree of Knowledge. Later, her beauty would captivate the English poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti. “Her enchanted hair,” he wrote, “was the first gold.”1 Irish novelist James Joyce cast her as the “patron of abortions.”2Modern feminists celebrate her bold struggle for independence from Adam. Her name appears as the title of a Jewish women’s magazine and a national literacy program. An annual music festival that donates its profits to battered women’s shelters and breast cancer research institutes is called the Lilith Fair.

In most manifestations of her myth, Lilith represents chaos, seduction and ungodliness. Yet, in her every guise, Lilith has cast a spell on humankind.
